While most writers tend to expect that their readers accept the world that they immerse themselves in with minimal detail until later chapters, or just say that is how things have always been. I find that this writer tries to paint the world with as much vivid explanation so as to portray this world not as a foundation set in stone, but something that you can witness changing as you read. This truly helps bring the world and character alive.
